The new 'Terminator' movie to be produced by James Cameron, which was initially scheduled to be released in July 2019, will be delayed four months.

AceShowbiz - The Terminator will be back, four months later than it was originally planned to be. The new movie, which is set to reboot the franchise, was initially set to be released on July 26, 2019, but Paramount Pictures has now pushed it back to November 22, 2019.
On the same date, the "Terminator" reboot will face off an untitled Fox/Marvel superhero feature. Other major releases in the month include the "Frozen (2013)" sequel and "Bond 25".
Arnold Schwarzenegger, who has been playing the titular character since 1984's "The Terminator", is set to reprise his role for the sixth film. The studio, however, says that the delay in the movie release is not related to the actor's open-heart surgery last week.
Linda Hamilton, who originally played Sarah Connor, will also return for the reboot. Meanwhile, the original helmer James Cameron is back as a producer. "Blade Runner 2049" actress Mackenzie Davis was recently added to the cast, but her role is not announced.
"Deadpool" director Tim Miller is on board to direct. Billy Ray has been tapped to work on the script, which has already had input from David Goyer ("Man of Steel"), Justin Rhodes ("Green Lantern Corps."), Charles Eglee ("Dark Angel") and Josh Friedman ("Avatar 2").
The plot of the reboot is under wraps but it will reportedly center on a battle between man and machine. Cameron also said that the film would be a direct sequel to "Terminator 2: Judgment Day". "This is a continuation of the story from Terminator 1 and Terminator 2," Cameron told The Hollywood Reporter.
He added, "And we're pretending the other films were a bad dream. Or an alternate timeline, which is permissible in our multi-verse. This was really driven more by [Tim] than anybody, surprisingly, because I came in pretty agnostic about where we took it. The only thing I insisted on was that we somehow revamp it and reinvent it for the 21st century."
The next movie will also be used as a platform to introduce a batch of new characters. Cameron said, "A lot of this is handing off the baton to a new generation of characters. We're starting a search for an 18-something young woman to essentially be the new centerpiece of these stories. And then a number of other characters around her and characters from the future. We still fold time in the story in intriguing ways. But we have Arnold's character and Linda's character to anchor it. Somewhere across there, and I won't say where, the baton gets passed, so to speak."
