The 'Beverly Hills, 90210' star's husband David Abrams files for divorce in L.A. County, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause.

AceShowbiz - Jennie Garth's husband David Abrams has filed for divorce from the actress after nearly three years of marriage, TMZ reported. On Friday, April 6, David filed the divorce in L.A. County. This was the third divorce for the actress following split from Peter Facinelli and musician Daniel B. Clark.

According to a document, irreconcilable differences were the cause of their split. It was stated that they have listed the date of separation as August 29, 2017. David reportedly asked the court to terminate Jennie's ability to collect spousal support and said that they had no community property that needed to be divided up.

The former couple met on a blind date in the fall of 2014 and quickly fell in love. They got engaged in April 2015 and married at a Los Angeles ceremony on July 11, 2015. At that time, Jennie shared to PEOPLE about their marriage, saying, "It was unreal. It was perfect."

Last November, however, they announced that they were taking some time apart. A source close to the couple told Us Weekly that "they are still trying to make it work, but they haven't been living together. They love each other, but like every marriage, it takes work. Jennie is taking the time to focus on her girls and herself."

Prior to this, Jennie was married to Daniel before splitting two years later in 1996. She was later married to "Twilight" actor Peter in a traditional Roman Catholic ceremony on January 20, 2001. She met Peter in 1995 while filming "An Unfinished Affair". Jennie shares three daughters, 20-year-old Luca, 14-year-old Lola and 11-year-old Fiona, with Peter. Peter then filed for divorce in March 2012 which was finalized in June 2013.

Jennie is known for her role on "Beverly Hills, 90210" where she played main character Kelly Taylor. She also played a character with the same name on "Melrose Place". Kelly Taylor was apparently tied to her as in 2005, she played a character with the same name in "Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story".

In 2017, she was seen in season 9 of "RuPaul's Drag Race" as a guest judge. She also appeared in an episode of "The Mick" as a pretentious, new-age parent who happened to be named Jennie Garth.
