AceShowbiz - Jennie Garth cried in an Instagram video on Thursday, January 9, sharing her experience during the devastating firestorms in Los Angeles. With tears streaming down her face, Garth, 52, thanked her ex-husband, Peter Facinelli, for taking her family in during the crisis.
"Peter and his family took us in and have been so kind. I wanted to let you know that we are safe," she said, her voice trembling. Garth expressed her grief for the city, adding, "I am deeply saddened for our city and just feel numb."
She also praised her current husband, Dave, for his support in the aftermath of the fires. "Dave has been amazing transporting all our bags and boxes, loading and unloading," she said.
"Our home was spared but so much to clean up and ready to get active to help our neighbors and friends and fellow Angelinos," she explained. "Just keep everyone here who is suffering in your heart and prayers. I am grateful we are all OK and have a home to return to. This will affect people differently, so reach out, and offer to help, it really does mean so much."
Garth and Facinelli met on the set of "An Unfinished Affair" in 1995 and married in 2001. They divorced in 2013 and share three daughters: Luca, Lola, and Fiona.
Despite their divorce, Garth and Facinelli have remained close, reuniting for a podcast interview in June 2024. Discussing the highs and lows of their 12-year marriage and subsequent divorce, she regretted their feud, "We wasted so much time trying to prove our points to one another."
