The former Disney darling is reportedly working with a slew of songwriters to help her write a song about her relationship with the musicians as she thinks it could be a hit.

AceShowbiz - Selena Gomez wants to make a good use of her drama with Justin Bieber and The Weeknd. According to a new report, the former Disney darling has been working with a slew of songwriters to help her write a song about her relationships with Justin and The Weeknd.

"She is working on ideas with her writers for songs about breakups and makeups and all about her ups and downs with Justin and The Weeknd," a source close to Selena tells HollywoodLife.com. "She feels that the music that comes from it could hit just like her friend Taylor Swift's songs have done for her career when she sings about love found and lost."

It remains to be seen if her new song will be a clap back at The Weeknd, who seemingly shaded her on his surprise EP "My Dear Melancholy". In a song titled "Call Out My Name", the "Starboy" hitmaker appeared to refer to Selena's kidney transplant, which occurred a few months before they broke up. "I almost cut a piece of myself for your life/ Guess I was just another pit stop," he sang.

He also seemingly sang about his singer/actress ex-girlfriend in "Privilige", which many fans speculated was a jab towards the songstress for rekindling his love with Justin shortly after they split. "Enjoyed your privileged life/ 'Cause I'm not gonna hold you through the night/ We said our last goodbyes/ So let's just try to end it with a smile," he crooned.

While Selena hasn't responded to the alleged shade, probably because she wants to respond to it through a song too, Justin thought that The Weeknd's songs are petty, weak and "makes him look bitter."

A source revealed that Justin also thought that he was the one who had "real love" for Selena. "Whether they are together or not, in the past, present or in the future, Justin will always be there for Selena," the source said. "He would gladly hand over one of his kidneys to save her life."
