In addition to the Rachel Bloom-starring musical comedy, The CW hands out renewal to a bunch of its shows including all five of Greg Berlanti's superheroes series.

AceShowbiz - "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" has been renewed for another season. But while it's great news for fans, it turns out the upcoming fourth season of The CW series will be the last season before the comedy wraps up its story.

Star and creator Rachel Bloom shares on her Twitter account that season 4 will be the final season of the musical series. "Just turned on my wifi on our flight to Chicago and found out that #CrazyExGirlfriend has been renewed for a final season," so she tweets.

While The CW declines to comment on the report, Bloom previously said that season 4 would be a happy season. She said that in the new season, her character Rebecca and other characters would find out what truly makes them happy.

"We're a show about a very specific journey in a person's life. And it's not really a sitcom meant to spit out copies of itself," Bloom revealed. "Very early on, we called it a 50-hour movie. I think we're beyond that now. There's always going to be plot movement, so there's only so far I think you can go with that. It could be five, but I think around four would be ideal for us creatively."

Also starring Vincent Rodriguez III, Donna Lynne Champlin, Pete Gardner, Velta Lovell, Gabrielle Ruiz and David Hull and Scott Michael Foster, "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" follows Rebecca Bunch as she stalks an ex-boyfriend from New York to West Covina, California. She later winds up being embroiled in a ridiculous level of drama.

In addition to "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend", The CW hands out renewal to a bunch of its shows. "Supernatural" is renewed for a 14th season, marking the longest-running show on the network's history. Joining "Supernatural" in the renewal card are all five of Greg Berlanti's superheroes dramas, "Arrow", "The Flash", "Supergirl", "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" and "Black Lightning".

"Arrow" has been picked up for a seventh season, while "The Flash" is renewed for a fifth season. Both "Supergirl" and "Legends of Tomorrow" are slated to return for fourth seasons. Meanwhile, freshman show "Black Lightning" is renewed for a sophomore season.

"Riverdale" is also renewed for season 3, while "Dynasty" joins "Black Lightning" as the freshman show to get a renewal. "Jane the Virgin", on the other hand, scores a season five renewal.
