AceShowbiz - Monday, March 12 was one of Meghan Markle's big days. The fiancee of Prince Harry attended her first Commonwealth Day at Westminster Abbey where she joined other royal family members, including Harry, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Charles, Duchess of Cornwall Camilia Parker Bowles, Prince William and Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton.
Meghan looked stunning in a cream coat from Amanda Wakeley. She completed her look with a matching color beret-style Stephen Jones hat, a pair of navy heels and a black clutch. For the occasion, the former "Suits" actress opted for a minimal makeup, letting her brunette locks fall. She walked side-by-side with her future husband Harry.
Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middlelton, who arrived not long after the engaged couple, looked equally fab. While Prince William looked dapper in navy suit, pregnant Kate stunned in color-coordinated Beulah dress and wide-brimmed hat by Lock and Co. Her Majesty, meanwhile, appeared in an all-burgundy ensemble. The Queen donned a jacket and a flower-decorated hat. She completed her look with her signature black shoes, black gloves and a handbag.

At the annual occasion, 60 inspirational people have been selected to receive a Queensleader Award. With "Towards a Common Future" as its theme, this year's event emphasized how the Commonwealth could address global challenges and work to create a better future. Along with the Queen, Meghan and Kate were presented with posies from some school children on their way out of the church.
