The 'That's What I Like' hitmaker ends his momentous night by receiving Album of the Year Award for his album '24K Magic'.

AceShowbiz - Bruno Mars ended his momentous night by receiving the biggest honor of the night at the 60th annual Grammy Awards. After teaming up with Cardi B for a performance of their collaboration "Finesse", Bruno was honored with Album of the Year Award for his effort "24K Magic". He also won Record of the Year Award for title track "24K Magic".

After receiving the award, the Honolulu-born singer thanked his competitor such as Lorde, Kendrick Lamar and Jay-Z. "You are the reasons I'm in the studio pulling my hair out because I know you guys are only going to come with the top shelf artistry and music and thank you guys for blessing the world with your music. I mean that," he said.

Bruno went on sharing a story of people who helped inspire the album, recalling that he used to cover songs written by Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Teddy Riley. "I remember seeing it first-hand people dancing that had never met each other from two sides of the globe, dancing with each other, toasting with each other, celebrating together," he added. "All I wanted to do with this album was that."

"That's all I wanted to bring with this album and hopefully I could feel that again and see everybody dancing and everybody moving. So I would like to dedicate this award to them, they are my heroes," he concluded his lengthy speech, saying that the album would not "exist if it wasn't for these guys that have written these songs. You know, I had to sprinkle a little Mars sauce on it."

Another musician who won big at the award show was Kendrick Lamar. He won five awards, including Best Music Video and Best Rap Performance for "Humble". Meanwhile, Jay-Z, who was the top nominee, came home empty handed. Other winners included Alessia Cara, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd.
