AceShowbiz - It's not even been two months since Taemin made his comeback with "Move", but he is already back with a new song. The SHINee member released a music video for ambient pop ballad "Day and Night" on Thursday, December 7.
The three-and-a-half-minute clip is released through Naver Music and finds Taemin bringing himself close to nature, roaming a forest and a mountain. Teaming up his vintage coat with a light gray shirt, the 24-year-old South Korean heartthrob showcases gentle vocals as he sings about a romance of two people who are really different from each other.
"Day and Night" is written and co-composed by Taemin. The track will be included in his repackaged album "MOVE-ing". The effort will be released on December 10, with the physical album hitting stores on December 11. It features nine tracks from "Move" and four brand new songs. The set is Taemin's first re-issued album since he started pursuing solo career in 2014.
Taemin is scheduled to perform the track for the first time on KBS2's "Music Bank" on December 8. Prior to this, the youngest member of SHINee joined former Wonder Girls' member Sunmi to perform "Gashina" at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Award on December 1.
Talking about his joint performance with the songstress, Taemin expressed that he was "really grateful to Sunmi because she was very enthusiastic about the collaboration." He added that there was "so much more that we wanted to do that we couldn't do due to time constraints."
"We were actually only able to meet at the rehearsal studio just once to go through the choreography together," he shared. "I'm sure there are some people who saw our performance and felt like we could have done a little more. And I think it was a little too short to be considered a true collaboration."
