AceShowbiz - Cardi B has another thing to celebrate this year after reaching a milestone in her music career. The 25-year-old raptress is set to tie knot with her boyfriend Offset as they got engaged during "Power 99's Powerhouse" in Philadelphia on Friday night, October 27.

In footage taken to document the proposal, the crowd cheered loudly as Offset got down on his knee onstage in front of some 19,000 people to pop the question. He showed his lady love the diamond ring and she said yes.

The "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker couldn't hide her happiness as she kept smiling from ear to ear as the Migos member put the ring on her finger. The two then shared an embrace.

Cardi and Offset have been dating since early this year after they were spotted leaving a Super Bowl event together in February. Last summer, it was reported that the couple got engaged, but she debunked the speculation.

"I'm a woman. Every woman, I think, wants to get married and wants to have children. It's never too early to get married now. You know, if you want to propose to me, you can," she set things straight in an interview at the 2017 MTV VMA Pre-Show. She added though, "I don't gotta put the pressure, you know what I'm saying? I put it down. Ain't no pressure, baby!"

Last week, Cardi sparked a rumor that they broke up as she posted on social media that she was "single." She later backtracked her remark, saying that she "exaggerated a lil bit."

There's no word on the wedding date just yet, but this year has been an eventful one for Cardi. After signing her first major label record deal with Atlantic Records in February, she released her debut single "Bodak Yellow" in June, which later topped the Billboard Hot 100 in late September. It is the only second song by an unaccompanied female rapper to ever top the chart after Lauryn Hill did so in 1998 with "Doo Wop (That Thing)".
