Even though they are no longer a couple, Lamar Odom wishes nothing but the best for Khloe Kardashian. The former basketball star got candid about his relationship with his ex-wife when appearing on Complex's "Everyday Struggle" alongside hosts Joe Budden, DJ Akademiks and Nadeska Alexis.

Asked what his relationship is like with the Good American founder nowadays, after news of her expecting her first child with beau Tristan Thompson surfaced, the 37-year-old said, "From a distance. I wish her well." He then admitted that he "still got love for her."

Lamar also spoke about what it was like getting so much media attention when he was married to the "Revenge Body with Khloe Kardashian" star. "Some of the s**t I did to myself...but yeah, it was a little smearing campaign I think going on," he said.

In addition, Lamar weighed in on his friendship with Kanye West, who is married to his ex-wife's sister Kim Kardashian. "Kanye is a good dude," he said. "He was there for me when I was in a coma. He was there for me when I woke up," he recalled. "I would say it probably deteriorated with all the other relationships that were built. But it's like that sometimes."

The former Lakers player and the 33-year-old reality TV star wed in September 2009 after one month together. Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013 following Lamar's cheating scandal and drug addiction relapse, but called it off in July 2015 following his hospitalization and near-death experience. The youngest Kardashian sister filed for divorce for a second time in late May 2016, and the proceedings were officially finalized in December.

It was reported last week that Khloe's pregnant with Tristan's baby. "Yes, Khloe and Tristan are expecting and they are absolutely thrilled," a source said of the couple, who has been together for a little over a year. "This isn't something they were in a rush to announce to the whole world, and it's only been in just the past week or so that they've felt comfortable telling most of their inner circle."
