Gina Torres reveals that she has called off her longtime marriage to actor Laurence Fishburne. The announcement was made after the 48-year-old actress was caught on camera kissing another man in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Torres was spotted locking lips with her new lover while having lunch at the Sweet Butter cafe. In pictures obtained by Page Six, she wore no wedding ring. Her man was identified as Kevin Wright, an entrepreneur and solar energy investor from Utah.

"With heavy hearts, Laurence and I quietly separated and began the dissolution of our marriage in the early fall of last year," she said in a statement. "There are no bad guys here. Only a love story with a different ending than either one of us had expected."

"Happily, however, our family remains intact and we will continue to raise our daughter together with love and joy and awe. As well as raise each other up with respect and love and the continued understanding that we're in this together, if not side by side."

Gina Torres and Laurence Fishburne split after 15 years of marriage. They tied the knot in 2002. They played a married couple on the TV show "Hannibal". They were last seen stepping out together in December 2015. They share a daughter named Delilah. Fishburne also has two children, son Langston and daughter Montana, from his previous marriage to actress Hajna O. Moss. Wright also recently split from his own wife after 20 years of marriage.

Gina Torres is known for her role on "Suits". In 2016, she left the show because her "personal life needed to be tended to." She was also tired of traveling between the set in Toronto and her home in Los Angeles. She is currently attached to a spin-off focusing on her character Jessica Pearson. The new show will be filmed in Los Angeles.
