Lil Uzi Vert's Debut Album 'Luv Is Rage 2' Bows at No. 1 on Billboard 200

Other artists who make their debut on the top 10 include rapper XXXTENTACION, rap collective A$AP Mob, country group Old Dominion and rock band The War on Drugs.

AceShowbiz - Lil Uzi Vert scores his first No. 1 album on Billboard 200 as his debut studio effort "Luv Is Rage 2" lands atop the chart in its first week. The album racked up 135,000 equivalent album units, including 28,000 in traditional album sales in the week ending August 31, according to Nielsen Music.

The effort features chart-topping single "XO TOUR Llif3" which bowed at No. 7 on Billboard Hot 100 back in June. "Luv Is Rage 2" has the third-largest streaming debut this year with 100,000 streaming equivalent album units, following Drake's "More Life" and Kendrick Lamar's "DAMN.".

Lil Uzi Vert's fellow rapper XXXTENTACION also makes a debut on the top 10. The spitter's first full-length album "17" arrives at No. 2 with 87,000 units. A few months ago, the rapper's mixtape "Revenge" landed at No. 44 on the chart.

At No. 3, rock band Queens of the Stone Age earns their third top 10 effort with "Villains". The group previously hit the top 10 with "...Like Clockwork" (No. 1 in 2013) and "Lullabies to Paralyze" (No. 5 in 2005).

Pop group Fifth Harmony's first album as a quartet "Fifth Harmony" debuts at No. 4 with 46,000 units, while Kendrick Lamar's "DAMN." dips to No. 5 with 45,000 units. Greatly fueled by its streaming activity, hip-hop collective A$AP Mob's new album "Cozy Tapes, Vol. 2: Too Cozy" bows at No. 6 with a little more than 41,000 units.

Trailing behind A$AP Mob is country group Old Dominion with their sophomore album "Happy Endings". The effort debuts at No. 7 with 41,000 units, including 31,000 in traditional album sales. Meanwhile, Khalid's "American Teen" falls to No. 8 with 33,000 units.

Other titles making up this week's top 10 are rapper Kodak Black's "Project Baby 2", which slips to No. 9 in its second week with a little less than 33,000 units, and rock band The War on Drugs' "A Deeper Understanding", which debuts at No. 10 with 31,000 units.
