AceShowbiz - Paul Rudd's Scott Lang will be sporting a new Ant-Man costume in "Avengers 4". The first look at the upgraded suit for the thief-turned-superhero was revealed in a new set video of the upcoming movie which was shared on the Facebook page for Avengers.

The video was posted on Thursday, August 31 to promote Day of Giving, an event held to raise money for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. It featured plenty of familiar faces like Zoe Saldana's Gamora, Karen Gillan's Nebula and Evangeline Lilly's the Wasp in addition to Rudd's Ant-Man.

It's easy to notice that Ant-Man's new suit looks quite different from his first get-up. Looking more sleek than the first costume, the new one features quite a lot of black while its chest piece lacks some of the original suit's detailing.

Ant-Man sported his first suit in his debut movie in 2015 as well as in last year's "Captain America: Civil War". It's still unclear if Marvel fans could see Ant-Man's upgraded suit in his next solo film "Ant-Man and the Wasp" or when he joins the Avengers in "Avengers: Infinity War".

"Avengers 4" is set for a May 3, 2019 release in theaters across the nation. It's directed by the Russo brothers from a script by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Kevin Feige is producing the film. Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow, Jon Favreau, Josh Brolin and Jeremy Renner have been confirmed to reprise their respective roles.

Meanwhile, "Ant-Man the Wasp" will open on July 6 next year. Peyton Reed is back as a director, with a script provided by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. Michael Douglas is returning as Hope van Dyne's father Dr. Hank Pym, while Michelle Pfeiffer joins the cast to play Hope's mom Janet van Dyne, the original Wasp.

Before appearing in the second "Ant-Man" film, Rudd's Ant-Man can be seen earlier in "Infinity War" as it is due out May 4. In addition to the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy, the film will feature Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange and Tom Holland's Spider-Man.
