The 'Criminal' singer has put the accusations to rest as she smoothly belted out the classic hit during her Las Vegas concert on Saturday, August 19.

AceShowbiz - Britney Spears has definitely given critics something to talk about. After being accused of lip-syncing for years, the songstress showed haters that she is capable of singing live during her performance at "Piece of Me" residency in Las Vegas over the weekend. She sent fans into frenzy as she suddenly belted out Bonnie Raitt's 1991 hit "Something to Talk About".

In the middle of the performance, Britney told the crowd, "I've been doing a lot of thinking lately, right? This morning I woke up... looked at the news, lot of things going on in the world and stuff. One minute they tear you down, and that's really horrible, and the next minute you're on top of the world, but I've never really spoke about it. I'm a Southern girl, I'm from Louisiana. I'm from the South, and I like to keep it real, so I just want to make sure I keep having you motherf**kers something to talk about."

Rocking a revealing black two-piece and knee-high boots, the pop diva then wowed the concertgoers with her smooth and powerful vocal as she slayed the country-tinged song. "I just ignore it, but they keep saying/ We laugh just a little too loud," Britney sang. "We stand just a little too close/ We stare a little too long/ Maybe they're seeing something we don't, darlin'."

It wasn't the first time the "Toxic" hitmaker silenced haters by showing off her vocal prowess. Back in June, she sang a dreamy version of "Happy Birthday" to one of her bodyguards named Jacob during her concert in Singapore.

Britney recently addressed the lip-sync accusations during an interview with Israeli TV show. "A lot of people think that I don't sing live," she said. "I usually because I'm dancing so much. I do have a little bit of playback, but there's a mixture of my voice and the playback. It really pisses me off because I am busting my a** out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever really gives me credit for it, you know?"
