AceShowbiz - Lionsgate Films has dropped a new trailer for "Wonder", a heartwarming story of August "Auggie" Pullman, a boy who was born with facial disfigurement. The trailer and the film follow the boy who faces bullies and struggles to fit in with the community as he enters school for the first time.
Born with facial differences that, up until now, have prevented him from going to a mainstream school, Auggie becomes the most unlikely of heroes when he enters the local fifth grade. As his family, his new classmates, and the larger community all struggle to find their compassion and acceptance, Auggie's extraordinary journey will unite them all and prove you can't blend in when you were born to stand out.
Based on the New York Times bestseller by R.J. Palacio, the movie stars Jacob Tremblay as Auggie, and Julia Roberts and Owen Wilson as his parents. Mandy Patinkin, Sonia Braga and Ali Liebert are also in the cast for of the movie, which is directed by Stephen Chbosky and penned by Steve Conrad and Jack Thorne.
The PG movie is set to open in theaters across the nation on November 17, just in time for Thanksgiving.
