AceShowbiz - It looks like not all women are interested in older men, even if it's Gerard Butler. The 47-year-old actor reportedly got rejected by a young woman he met at Catch Restaurant in Los Angeles because she felt he was way too old for her.
A source told Life & Style that Gerard "tried to make a move on a gorgeous 20-something, but he was quickly shot down." The source went on saying, "The young woman then turned to her friends and said, 'Eww, that guy was old enough to be my grandpa!' "
The source explained that Gerard was beyond embarrassed as his friends kept teasing him about the rejection. "His buddies teased Gerard mercilessly and suggested he may need to change up his strategy," the source continued.
Although he might be disappointed for failing to charm a young woman, Gerard didn't seem to worry as he appeared to have rekindled his romance with his ex-girlfriend Morgan Brown. They were spotted spending time together at a beach in Mexico over the weekend. In some photos obtained by Daily Mail, Gerard and Morgan could be seen laughing at each other in the ocean. The two later packed on the PDA as Morgan was helping the "Machine Gun Preacher" actor adjust his swimming trunks.
Prior to this, the pair were photographed leaving a club in Malibu together on Sunday, June 25. Gerard and Morgan were seen getting into the same vehicle. They looked relaxed as they opted for a casual look for the outing.
