The co-host announced her departure from CBS' daytime show in Thursday, June 15 episode as she revealed that she was too busy with her many other projects.

AceShowbiz - "The Talk" co-host Aisha Tyler announced on-air Thursday, June 15 that she would leave the CBS daytime show at the end of current season 7. Aisha, who joined the show in 2011, revealed that she was too busy with her many other projects, including her directorial gig, to continue her seven-days-a-week commitment to "The Talk".

"People always go 'How to you do all that?' and I don't always have an answer," she shared, tears in her eyes. "I just realized I had to let something go," she continued. "At the end of this season I'm going to be leaving the show… I have had an amazing six years with you guys," she said while breaking down in tears.

Aisha took to her Twitter account to share a sweet yet heartbreaking photo of herself and the other co-hosts Julie Chen, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Sara Gilbert hugging in circle. She wrote "#squadgoalsforever" across the photo, which she simply captioned, "Love. Always."

She said, however, that she'd like to come back as a guest host and promote her other projects. Replacement has not been announced yet, but Carnie Wilson and Leeza Gibson are the most frequent substitute hosts.

Aisha hosts The CW's "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", voice acts on "Archer" and stars on CBS' "Criminal Minds", in which she has been upped to series regular. She also has made her feature directorial debut with "Axis", which she said prompted a realization about the trajectory of her career and the current significance of female director, citing Ava DuVernay and Patty Jenkins ("Wonder Woman").
