Harley Quinn is coming to "Gotham" sooner than later. It had been revealed prior to the season premiere that the third season would feature "a forerunner of Harley Quinn," but the said character has not been seen yet while the show is nearing the end of the season.

But now star David Mazouz has assured everyone that Harley Quinn will indeed appear in the third season of the Batman prequel series. "She's going to be in the finale. Stay tuned," the Bruce Wayne depicter teased the character's debut on the FOX show during an interview with Movie Pilot.

Previously, executive producer Ken Woodruff said that Harley Quinn might have already appeared on the show, but we might not notice it was her. "You may have already seen Harley as a person that you thought you had met and known for a long time. So we always reserve the right to sort of do that as well," he said.

There has been speculation that Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) is the future Harley Quinn. A recent photo supported this theory as it featured Barbara in a red fur coat and dress. The color choices and lighting in the shot gave unmistakably hues of the modern Harley Quinn.

"Gotham" two-hour season finale will air Monday, June 5 starting at 8/7c on FOX.
