AceShowbiz - Darren Criss is determined to get all of his 1.7 million followers drooling over his ripped body. The actor has taken to his Instagram account to share an almost-nude selfie taken on "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" set.
The revealing photo sees Darren taking a mirror-selfie while striping down to his birthday suit. The 30-year-old actor puts his speedo strategically in the middle of his crotch to cover his private part. "So what's more red? My sunburn, my speedo, or YOUR FACE??? #ACSVersace," he writes a playful caption.
The photo soon drives his followers crazy. "F**K!!! GODDAMNIT DARREN!!! I think I just had a mini heart attack, can someone please call the ambulance?! Y are you doing this to us Darren?!???" writes a fan. Another fan comments, "Darren just made over 200 million girls ovaries explode. End of story." YouTube star Tyler Oakley is also one of the many people whom Darren shocks with his photo. "i can't even, i'm unable to even, i have lost the ability to even," he writes in the comment.
Darren plays Andrew Cunanan in the upcoming third season of FX's anthology series. Based on the book "Vulgar Favors: Andrew Cunanan, Gianni Versace, and the Largest Failed Manhunt in U.S. History" by Maureen Orth, the third season will center on the assassination of Gianni Versace in Miami in July 1997. Cunanan, who killed five people that year, committed suicide eight days later on a house boat.
Also starring on the series are Penelope Cruz, Edgar Ramirez, Ricky Martin and Max Greenfield. "The Assassination of Gianni Versace" is set to air in 2018 on FX.
