The 29-year-old Detroit MC confronts discrimination, senseless violence and police brutality in the new clip as he hopes to inspire other people to make a change.

AceShowbiz - Just days after Jeremih released a music video for his Big Sean-assisted track "I Think of You", the pair have reunited. Big Sean has released a clip for his collaborative track with the R&B singer titled "Light" off his latest effort "I Decided". The Lawrence Lamont-directed visuals sees Sean driving a white van around the town, picking up innocent souls who have been victims of senseless violence.

Sean plays an angel as he picks up a little girl who is caught up in a shootout, two teenagers who are victims of police brutality and a woman who is stabbed by a gangster. Sean then brings them to a deserted area where they are shined by lights from above before being taken to heaven. The nearly-four minute video has a deep message of how hate has taken over our world, but it can never take our "inner lights."

"So when they take the fame, take the crib, take our cars/ Now we gotta take the train, and hood n***as takin' chains/ Slave master take our names, 5-0 take the shot/ And young souls take the blame, man but they can't take away the light," Sean raps.

"Such a beautiful video with a beautiful message," a fan commented. "This video is f**king deep," another fan wrote. Fans seemed to be in awe with the video. "For the first time in forever, there's a rap song, with a positive message, not about h*es, or money, or pimpin, but about you soul," another fan gushed.

Sean wrote of the video, "We shot this video a couple months ago and sucks to see these scenes are still consistently playing out in real life... even down to this week. It's disheartening sometimes to see that not much has changed when it comes to hate, police brutality n just overall people losing their lives too early. But when I wrote this song, it was to reassure myself that no matter what happens, they can't take away our Soul, our confidence, our ideas, n all that makes us shine."

He added, "This song isn't a single but is still super important to me, so I paid a lot of this outta pocket to make sure we got this out. Rest in peace to all those who have lost life due to senseless actions. As I always say, each one of us have the power to make a change, it starts within...the inner Light."
