Selena Gomez and The Weeknd made their relationship red carpet official as they attended the 2017 Met Gala as a couple. The pair were not shy to show off their blossoming romance as the two kept close on the red carpet.
The pair arrived hand-in-hand at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, May 1 in New York City. Selena looked stunning in a creme silk chiffon gown from Coach that featured vintage lace paneling and hand-sewn floral embroidery. She finished up her look with golden shoes and an edgy chained choker from Tiffany & Co. On top of that, the "It Ain't Me" hitmaker styled her dark locks into a sleek bob. The Weeknd, meanwhile, looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo.
The couple, who began dating earlier this year, smiled and hugged while posing on the red carpet. The former Disney darling wrapped her arms tightly around her singer beau as they shared a little giggle. At one point, the Canadian hunk leaned over and placed a kiss on Selena's cheek which made her burst into a wide smile.
Selena and The Weeknd almost had an awkward run-in with Yolanda Hadid and her son Anwar Hadid as the couple walked the carpet just moments before the family made their entrance. An onlooker told E! News that the foursome did not interact despite being in the same place.
