Chris Pratt was awarded with a star on Hollywood Walk of Fame on April 21. The actor came to the ceremony accompanied by his wife of eight years, Anna Faris, and their 4-year-old son, Jack. The family was all smiles and they gave a little speech on the podium.

In some photos, Chris looked dapper in a gray suit while Anna appeared graceful in a navy-blue dress. Little Jack was dressed in a blue suit paired with green-rimmed glasses and red shoes. His parents were constantly dotting on him, giving him hugs and making sure that he was having fun.

In his speech, the "Parks and Recreation" actor thanked people who contributed to his career, including his family. "I wanna thank my wife. Anna, I love you," Chris said in his emotional speech. "You gave me the greatest star in the galaxy, my little boy. I love him and I love you. We have bonded to make this molecule that is more important to me than air or water and without it none of these means anything to me."

Anna had taken the podium prior to her husband and delivered an equally touching speech. She showed off a drawing of unicorn Chris had made her before thanking him. "He stood by me and held me and was my anchor," she said. "Honey, I want to thank you for being the most incredible person. I love you so much."

Fellow "Guardians of the Galaxy" stars like Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Pom Klementieff and Michael Rooker as well as director James Gunn were present as well. James said in his speech, "[Chris] truly is a beautiful soul. I love you, dearly. You are one of the best friends I've ever had in my entire life. I am so so fortunate to have you be the person that I'm spending ten years making movies with. Thank God for you and congratulations for your new star." After the event, the director took to Instagram to congratulate the Star-Lord depicter once again.

Watching @prattprattpratt's speech as he gets his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, after both @annafaris & I gave our speeches. Kinda proud. Both Chris and Anna made me cry with their heartfelt and grateful sentiments about their relationship, the fans, their coworkers, and the lives they lead. A lot of these things can be stuffy affairs - I was lucky to be a part of something where all the people involved had such a deep love for each other. And I was incredibly touched that Kevin, Lou, and Victoria from Marvel showed up as did @zoesaldana, @davebautista, @michael_rooker and @pomin8r. I try so hard not to use the word blessed on Instagram, but there I go. What a lovely, amazing day. Meanwhile, Chris and Anna's son Jack couldn't care less about any of it (except he was very excited to meet Yondu, and he had a nice "oblodoblobiddlitoobut" conversation with him). ❤️

The day before the ceremony, the "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" star took to Instagram to share his gratitude and excitement for getting the star. He posted a photo of his star being assembled and wrote, "Psalm 126:3 'The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.' Thank you to the many, many people who empowered me to follow my dreams. #surreal #gotgvol2 #WHATSMYSNACK."
