A promo for the season finale reveals Nick's greatest fear before proposing and teases something that has never been seen before in the 'After the Final Rose'.

AceShowbiz - Less than a week away from "The Bachelor" season finale, rumors have been floating around about whom Nick Viall picks in the last rose ceremony. The Hollywood Gossip has now revealed the 36-year-old hunk's "selfish" proposal.
According to the site, [SPOILER ALERT!] "Nick was scared to death" before giving the final rose. "He said if he left alone, he would be devastated," says a source. But he's also "over the moon" about proposing in the finale, adds a production insider.
While the site knows whom Nick eventually picks, we won't give away the name so it won't ruin your viewing pleasure. But Nick does propose to the winner with a $93,000, 4-carat diamond rock. As for the runner-up, she reportedly professes her love, not knowing that she would end up not getting the rose.
Having been rejected before, Nick knows how the runner-up feels. "He could relate to the woman he was sending home more than the woman chosen," says the so-called insider. "Nick had empathy for her. ... It was hard for him to let her go because it hit so close to home."
On how he explains it to the runner-up, the source reveals, "He told her his heart was with someone else." Nick reportedly feels awful for going through with the ceremony at all. "He tells the runner-up, 'I've been so selfish,' " the source adds.
A preview for the finale obtained by E! News teases how emotional Nick is before sending the runner-up packing and reveals that he's afraid the girl he chooses will reject him. Later in the "After the Final Rose" special, we're getting something we've never seen before on the show.
A few days ago, top 2 finalist Vanessa Grimaldi sent fans into a frenzy as she visited a wedding dress shop, Le Chateau in Montreal, sparking a speculation that she may be Nick's future bride. Holly Wiancko, the store's creative coordinator, posted on Instagram a picture with Vanessa in the shop, writing, "A good way to end the week at the office! #thebachelor."
