AceShowbiz - Hip-hop group Migos earns their first No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with their newly-released album "Culture". The set sold 131,000 equivalent album units in its first week of its release according to Nielsen Music. Its sales was largely driven by streams as it earned 77,000 streaming equivalent album units (59 percent of the set's first-week total). The album also debuted atop Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums and Top Rap Album charts.

Prior to this achievement, the trio considered the importance of having a No. 1 album. "It would mean everything, but with everything in the world, hard work pays off," said the group's Quavo. "We speaking for the young generation, we speaking for the young generation of music."

Migos' "Culture" was released on January 27 through Quality Control/300 Entertainment. It serves as the follow-up to the group's 2015 debut album "Yung Rich Nation", which peaked at No. 17 on the chart.
