'Captain America: Civil War' Tops 2017 Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards Nominations in Movie

The third 'Captain America' movie dominates the nominations list and 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' follows closely behind.

AceShowbiz - Marvel dominates the movie nominees of this year's Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards. "Captain America: Civil War" leads the pack with a total of eight nods including Favorite Movie Actor for Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans as well as Favorite Movie Actress for Scarlett Johansson.

DC adaptation "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" trails closely behind with seven nominations including Favorite Movie Actors for Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill as well as Favorite Movie Actress for Amy Adams. "Finding Dory", "Ghostbusters" and "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" are among the nominees as well.

The winners will be announced in a ceremony scheduled to air on Saturday, March 11. John Cena is tapped as host. Besides honoring children's favorites in movie, the awards show recognizes kids' favorites in music and television.
