The Weeknd is planning something super cute to celebrate his first Valentine's Day with Selena Gomez. Rather than giving chocolate and roses to the "Hands to Myself" songstress, the "Starboy" hitmaker wants to present a unique and personal gift or an intimate experience as a date.

According to a source, The Weeknd wants to write songs together with Selena on their first V-Day. "Plans are still being made but The Weeknd wants to write [music] with Selena," the source tells HollywoodLife.com, "Even if it never makes it to the studio he feels that is the biggest connection he can make with her is to share his art. He thinks it would be the icing on the cake of a full day of good times!"

Rumor has it, The Weeknd plans to take Selena to his hometown in Toronto following their romantic Italian getaway. "For The Weeknd, no place says love more than Italy and that's one of the reasons he wanted to spend time there with Selena [Gomez]," another insider tells the site, "With all the hate that's going on with Donald Trump being President, he just wanted to get the f**k out and be surrounded with love and beauty and Selena gave him all of that and more!"

The insider continues, "Their trip was bomb. They saw some historical sights, laughed, and found this cute little chain length fence and put a love lock on it! The Weeknd loves traveling with her and wants to take her to Toronto next and give her a personal tour of his old stomping grounds."
