The streaming giant is bringing back a team of five brave men, who will try to bring us closer together with laughter, heart and just the right amount of moisturizer.

AceShowbiz - Netflix has ordered eight new episodes of "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". The former Bravo hit makeover reality show features a new "Fab Five" who will get some tough missions, which include moving from New York City to turning "the Red States pink."

The official Netflix logline reads, "In a time when America stands divided and the future seems uncertain, a team of five brave men will try to bring us closer together with laughter, heart, and just the right amount of moisturizer. The Emmy Award winning 'Queer Eye' is back and ready to Make America Fabulous Again. With a new Fab 5 and the show's toughest missions to date, 'Queer Eye' moves from the Big Apple to turn the red states pink...one makeover at a time."

The original "Queer Eye" ran for five seasons from 2003 to 2007 on Bravo. It followed the team of five homosexual men, Carson Kressley, Ted Allen, Kyan Douglas, Thom Filicia and Jai Rodriguez, performing a makeover on a straight man, revamping his wardrobe, redecorating his home and offering advice on grooming, lifestyle and food.

The gay makeover show will begin production this spring. David Collins will executive produce the new series alongside Michael Williams and Rob Eric. David Eilenberg will also executive produce the groundbreaking makeover drama in association with ITV Entertainment.
