Halsey is the latest artist to release music from the "Fifty Shades Darker" soundtrack, which will be released on February 10. Following Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik's "I Don't Wanna Live Forever", the 22-year-old singer unleashed "Not Afraid Anymore" on late Thursday, January 12.

The electro-pop ballad, which was penned by Halsey, features lyrics that highlight the movie's narrative. On the nearly-four-minute song, Halsey sings, "I am not ashamed anymore/ I want something so impure/ You better impress now watching my dress now, fall to the floor." She continues singing in the chorus, "Touch me like you never/ And push me like you never/ And touch me like you never/ Cause I am not afraid, I am not afraid anymore/ No, no, no."

In addition to the song, the star-studded soundtrack includes songs from Tove Lo, John Legend, Nick Jonas, Nicki Minaj, Sia Furler and more. "Not Afraid Anymore" is now available on iTunes and Spotify.

Halsey released her debut album "Badlands" on August 28, 2015, and it peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. The album's fourth single "Castle" was re-recorded in 2016 for the soundtrack to "The Huntsman: Winter's War", which cast includes Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Nick Frost and Sam Claflin.

The "Colors" hitmaker recently underwent "multiple surgeries" to treat her severe endometriosis. In a photo posted on her Instagram account, Halsey wrote, "Today I braved multiple terrifying surgeries. The most important of which being the surgery that would hopefully treat my endometriosis."
