AceShowbiz - Full winner list of the 74th Annual Golden Globe Awards in movie category has been unveiled. "La La Land" won big with seven prizes, while "Moonlight" was announced as Best Motion Picture - Drama at the event hosted by Jimmy Fallon on Sunday night, January 8.

"Moonlight" director Barry Jenkins took the stage along with the cast and crew, thanking the Hollywood Foreign Press Association as well as his collaborators A24 and Plan B Entertainment. "Mom I gave you my life," he added, before urging fans to "tell a friend" about his movie.

This year's Golden Globes also honored Meryl Streep with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement. Taking the honor to present the prize was Viola Davis. "You make me proud to be an artist. You make me feel that what I have in me, my body, my face, my age, is enough," the "Fences" actress said.

"Hollywood is crawling with foreigners and outsiders. And if you kick them out, all we'll have left to watch is football and mixed martial arts, which are not the arts," Streep said while accepting her award. She tearfully ended her speech by quoting her late friend Carrie Fisher: "Take your broken heart, make it into art."
