Carrie Fisher Is Set to Appear in Two 'Family Guy' Episodes

The 'Star Wars' actress had reprised her role as Angela in two future episodes of the FOX animated comedy before she passed away on Tuesday.

AceShowbiz - Carrie Fisher is set to appear in two upcoming episodes of "Family Guy" which will air sometime in 2017. The actress will reprise her role as Angela, whose voice-over already completed earlier this year.

Fisher first appeared as Angela, Peter Griffin's supervisor, in 2005 and since then she had been providing voice-over for the character in more than 20 episodes.

"Carrie Fisher was smart, funny, talented, surprising, and always a hell of a fun time to be around. 'Family Guy' will miss her immensely," series creator Seth MacFarlane wrote on Twitter, offering his condolences on Tuesday, December 27.

In addition to the upcoming "Family Guy" episodes, Fisher will be seen in "Star Wars Episode VIII", reprising her role of General Leia Organa.

Fisher had also re-teamed with her famous mother, Debbie Reynolds, for a documentary titled "Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds", which will air in 2017 on HBO.
