Nicki Minaj and Diplo are teasing their new collaboration on Twitter. Diplo previously revealed on the red carpet of the 2016 American Music Awards that Major Lazer would release a new single with Nicki and PARTYNEXTDOOR on January 6.

On Wednesday, November 30, Nicki tweeted, "Show dem seh ya wicked like dat.... gimme di ting & mek me rock in ah di dance @MAJORLAZER." She added three fire emojis. Major Lazer responded to Nicki with a gif of Afrojack performing in front of sexy female dancers.

Diplo later posted, "But this Barbi x Major Lazer record is about to be." He added a series of candle emojis.

Earlier in the day, Nicki released her "Black Barbies" remix on iTunes. The "Side to Side" rapper previously shared on YouTube the revamped version of Rae Sremmurd's No. 1 single "Black Beatles".
