Alternate 'Doctor Strange' Concept Art Features Cooler Design for Dormammu
Movie

A bunch of concept art for the recently-released Marvel movie has landed online, giving fans a look at scarier, but cool design for the massive dimensional villain.

Some unused concept art for Benedict Cumberbatch's "Doctor Strange" has made its way out online. Obtained by DailySuperhero.com, the artwork shows the alternate design for dimensional villain Dormammu in the recently-released Marvel movie. It looks scarier, but cool.

The big, talking-head baddie is depicted more accurate like in the comic book series. Since the concept art was not used for the first movie, fans have speculated that it will be used for a potential sequel, which is said to feature Dormammu in a more humanoid form when he comes to Earth to seek revenge on the titular sorcerer.

"Doctor Strange" is currently in theaters across the U.S. Since the superhero flick was released earlier this month, it has grossed more than $600 million at worldwide box office, surpassing Robert Downey Jr.'s "Iron Man" as Marvel's highest-grossing solo movie of all time.

Directed by Scott Derrickson, the movie also stars Tilda Swinton as the Ancient One, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Baron Mordo and Mads Mikkelsen as the villainous Kaecilius. Other cast members include Rachel McAdams, Benedict Wong, Scott Adkins and Michael Stuhlbarg.
