The trio's fourth studio album will also feature collaborations with Sia ('Head High'), Justin Bieber and MO ('Cold Water').

AceShowbiz - Diplo confirms Major Lazer's fourth studio album will feature collaborations with Usher, Sam Hunt and Travis Scott (II). The band's "Cold Water" collaboration with Justin Bieber and MO was released on July 22. Another collaboration with Sia Furler, "Head High", leaked online last week.

In an interview with Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show, Diplo says, "Definitely we have Usher on it. ['Lean On' collaborator] MO's back on songs. We have a song with Sam Hunt which is very unusual, but I love him. Travi$ Scott. I don't even know; I have to go back...Sia is on a couple ideas, but one of the records might be her record. She's definitely background vocals on a song."

"This record has a lot of moving parts," he added, "Ed Sheeran helped write the record with us. Benny Blanco. They also had a big hit with Justin last year. It's like a big family we all do it together. We're all just people that worked together on the last year and then MO came in because we love her so much. We just want to put her on as many records on the new Major Lazer album as possible."

Of the release of "Cold Water, Diplo says, "I'm just happy to get some stuff together, this summer has been kinda slow I feel like as far as music. We gotta give the people something. Drake and Rihanna killed it this year, but there hasn't really been a summer vibe. For me 'One Dance' has been the biggest record of the year...it's the coolest pop record. I felt like, let's come through and join the squad."

Diplo says he's working on an astounding 40 records and Major Lazer will release a new single in August. The album is expected to be released in January 2017.
