Serving as the first single off Major Lazer's new album, the collaboration called 'Cold Water' will premiere 'in a couple weeks' on Beats 1.

AceShowbiz - Diplo has massive collaboration with Justin Bieber and an equally successful single featuring MO. Now, the EDM star is planning a bigger hit by enlisting both the Canadian pop star and the Danish diva for his group Major Lazer's "Cold Water".

Diplo announced the new song via his Lazer Sound Beats 1 radio show on Monday, May 30. He didn't give the track an official release date, but said it was "coming up in a couple weeks" and would premiere on Beats 1.

"Cold Water" will serve as the first single off Major Lazer's new album. Diplo first teased it earlier this month, when Bieber hinted on Twitter that they were doing another collaboration. "@diplo when are we bringing this new music?" the 22-year-old heartthrob tweeted at the time, to which Diplo replied, "Let me just whip up this artwork quick because this song is [fire]."

The EDM superstar previously worked together with Bieber on "Where Are U Now", which appears on his and Skrillex's 2015 joint album "Skrillex and Diplo Present Jack U" as well as the Biebs' latest LP "Purpose". The song reached No. 8 on Billboard Hot 100 and earned Bieber his first-ever Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.

Diplo also dominated the airwaves and streaming services last year with Major Lazer's "Lean On" featuring DJ Snake and MO. The dance record peaked at No. 4 on the Hot 100.
