Johnny Depp has been ordered to stay away from his estranged wife Amber Heard after she claimed he hit her in the face with a cellphone, pulled her hair, struck her and screamed at her during a fight last weekend. On Friday afternoon, May 27, Amber was granted a temporary restraining order against Johnny until June 17.

Johnny's lawyer Laura Wasser has filed an opposition to the restraining order on her client's behalf. "Amber is attempting to secure a premature financial resolution by alleging abuse," Laura wrote, "Johnny is currently out of the country for work. He is unable to attend the hearing on this matter and has not heard Amber's specific allegations against him. He nonetheless has every intention of staying away from Amber."

When leaving L.A. Superior court earlier on Friday after giving a sworn declaration about the alleged domestic abuse, Amber was spotted with a bruise on her face. She said in her sworn declaration, "During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny Depp has been verbally and physically abusive to me. He has a short fuse. He is often paranoid and his temper is exceptionally scary for me."

Amber submitted as evidence a photo of a bruise to her face, saying Johnny was high and drunk at the time of the incident.

"I live in fear that Johnny will return to (our house) unannounced to terrorize me, physically and emotionally," she said, "There also have been several prior incidents of domestic violence with Johnny, in particular there was one severe incident in December 2015 when I truly feared that my life was in danger."

Amber claimed that she hadn't seen Johnny since her birthday party on April 21, where she claimed he threw a bottle of champagne at the wall, grabbed her by the hair and threw her onto the floor.

The judge denied Amber's requests to keep Johnny away from her dog and to require him to take anger management classes.
