In the first issue of 'Captain America: Steve Rogers', Cap is shockingly revealed to be an agent of the evil organization Hydra.

AceShowbiz - Chris Evans has reacted to Captain America's Hydra plot twist, which has caused a major outcry on the Internet. The "Captain America: Civil War" actor took to Twitter on Thursday, May 26 to share his thought, writing, "Hydra?!?!? #sayitaintso."

Some fans gave their support to Chris' epic reaction. A fan sent the actor an edited picture of him ripping the comic "Captain America: Steve Rogers". Another fan posted a cartoon picture of a sign which read, "Cap didn't get iced for this s**t."

The first issue of "Captain America: Steve Rogers" reveals that Steve Rogers and his mother were recruited to join Hydra in the 1920s. In the comic, written by Nick Spencer and drawn by Jesus Saiz, Cap even betrays one of his fellow Marvel superheroes and boldly states, "Hail Hydra."

Marvel executive director Tom Brevoort told USA Today of the plot twist, "We knew it would be like slapping people in the face. His mission is to further the goals and beliefs of Hydra. If that involves taking down the Marvel universe, sure. (But) it may not be as simple as that. It's not like he's exchanged his white hat for a black hat - it's a green hat."
