'Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders' and 'Code Black' are back for second seasons, while the fate of another freshman 'Limitless' remains unknown.

AceShowbiz - CBS has handed out renewals to other shows before unveiling its 2016-2017 schedule. After left out in the previous new season pick-up list, "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders", "The Odd Couple" and "Code Black" are included in the latest batch along with long-running reality show "Undercover Boss".

The renewals will bring the "Criminal Minds" spin-off and medical drama "Code Black" for season 2. Matthew Perry-starring comedy "The Odd Couple" is currently in the middle of its second season. "Undercover Boss" is renewed for an eighth season.

They join the likes of "Criminal Minds", "Blue Bloods", "Elementary", "Hawaii Five-0", "Madam Secretary", "NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service", "NCIS: Los Angeles", "NCIS: New Orleans" and "Scorpion" who will all return for another season each on the network.

On the same day "Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders", "The Odd Couple" and "Code Black" were renewed, CBS delivered bad news for rookie series "Rush Hour". The TV series adaptation of the 1997 movie was canceled after only one season.

The action comedy series debuted to 5.1 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demographic in late March. The most recent episode drew 4.5 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the coveted demo. The show will stay on the air until its first-season run ends.

Meanwhile, CBS has not delivered a verdict on freshman drama "Limitless". CBS TV Studios has reportedly been quietly shopping the show based on Bradley Cooper's movie of the same title to other networks, in case the Eye decides not to pick it up for a second season.
