Kelly Ripa will be returning to "Live! with Kelly and Michael" alongside Michael Strahan after all. After week-long tension due to Michael's shocking departure announcement that led to her abrupt absence on Wednesday, she is set to be back on the show Tuesday, April 26.

Kelly herself confirmed it in an email to the "Live!" staff. "(Sorry for this late Friday night email). I wanted to thank you all for giving me the time to process this new information," she wrote in the email obtained by The New York Times. "Your kindness, support, and love has overwhelmed me. We are a family and I look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday morning. Love, Kelly."

Kelly had "a previously-scheduled vacation" to Turks and Caicos with her family this weekend, but she was only expected to miss Friday and Monday shows. She has been absent since Wednesday though she was still spotted in New York City on Thursday.

"Saturday Night Live" alum Ana Gasteyer filled in for Kelly on Wednesday, while Fox Sports personality and "Dancing with the Stars" co-host Erin Andrews served as guest co-host on Thursday and Friday.

A source close to Strahan tells PEOPLE, "He has been reaching out to her. He wants her to come back."

Previously, it was reported that the "Live!" crew were furious over Kelly's alleged boycott.
