Dead or not, Kit Harington himself says he will be in several episodes of the show's season 6, thus explaining why he was filming in Belfast for a couple of months.

AceShowbiz - Amy Schumer also weighs in on the speculation about whether Jon Snow is dead or not on "Game of Thrones". The comedienne spoofs the HBO hit series in a promo for the upcoming new season of her own show "Inside Amy Schumer".

Rocking a medieval costume, she says while sitting on a horse, "On April 21, 'Inside Amy Schumer' returns. And no spoilers, but Jon Snow is definitely alive." She pauses, before later explains why she believes so, " 'Cause he said no to doing our show."

While the fate of Jon remains a mystery, Kit Harington assured fans that he would be in several episodes of the sixth season. "I was playing a corpse. I was [shooting in Belfast] for a little bit, I was there for about a month or two months, it was spread over a bit and I was playing a corpse," he said on "The Jonathan Ross Show".

"I won't tell you how many episodes I'm lying dead, but it's enough that I was out there for quite a while. It's going to be so satisfying when you see it and you realize that I was telling the truth the whole time," he insisted.

In other news, mathematicians have calculated the most important character on "Game of Thrones". In their research paper "Network of Thrones", math professor Andrew J. Beveridge and undergraduate Jie Shan examined such factors as how many people each character is connected to, how often they interact with others, and how important the people they're connected to are to determine the real protagonist of the show.

"Acting as the Hand of the King, Tyrion is thrust into the center of the political machinations of the capitol city," Beveridge and Shan concluded. "Our analysis suggests that he is the true protagonist of the book."

"Game of Thrones" season 6 debuts April 24 on HBO.
