The male lead of 'The Maze Runner: The Death Cure' is rushed to hospital following the on-set accident in Canada.

AceShowbiz - The filming of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is halted after Dylan O'Brien suffered serious injuries on the set. The "Teen Wolf" actor was reportedly run over by a car while shooting a scene involving the vehicle in Canada.

According to TMZ, 24-year-old O'Brien who plays the lead character in the movie franchise sustained multiple broken bones in the horrible mishap. "He was in an accident and is being treated in a local hospital," a representative for the actor opens up.

Fox's rep explains further, "Dylan O'Brien was injured yesterday while filming Maze Runner: The Death Cure in Vancouver, Canada. He was immediately transferred to a local hospital for observation and treatment. Production on the film will be shut down while he recovers. Our thoughts go out to Dylan for a full and speedy recovery."
