The 39-year-old singer and the 'Hollaback Girl' hitmaker wanted to throw their buddy Adam a baby shower to honor the impending arrival of his first child.

AceShowbiz - Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani seemed to be very happy to know that their friend Adam Levine is going to be a father. The country singer and the mother of three reportedly wanted to throw their "The Voice" collaborator a great baby shower.
An insider revealed that the pair wanted to host the big event to honor Adam, his wife Behati Prinsloo and their baby, who's on the way. "Blake said wants to throw a baby shower with Gwen. He was half-joking, but he seems like he wants to be involved and be there for Adam, all jokes aside," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
That may not be difficult for Gwen to organize a baby shower since she had held three in her honor for sons Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. Blake and Adam are best buddies too, so it's very likely for them to plan the event together.
Previously, it was reported that Blake wanted to be the Godfather of Adam's child. "Blake has already volunteered to be the Godfather, so he can show their little one the ropes. Everyone is thrilled, including Gwen and Christina," another source said.
