Three castaways succumb to heat stroke and receive medical treatment, but one player is in a more precarious situation and has to be evacuated.

It was a hot and rough day on "Survivor: Kaoh Rong" in the episode that aired Wednesday, March 9. Fifteen players remained as the show entered Day 9 that started with a challenge where the castaways had to play a carnival on the beach.
Things went terrifying after the Brains tribe won the challenge as Debbie complained of feeling "like fire from the inside out." She went down with heat stroke but the medics successfully cooled her down.
As she began to recover, Caleb from the Beauty tribe and Cydney from the Brawn team also collapsed. The medics attempted the same procedures on Caleb and Cydney. While Cydney eventually recovered, Caleb was not that lucky. He had to be evacuated immediately and was taken by a helicopter.
"This is as far as you're gonna go," host Jeff Probst told him, effectively removing him from the competition. "We've got to take care of you. You're a warrior, dude. I'm glad you were out here."
The show went on after the emergency situation with another challenge. The Brawn tribe lost and Alecia, who basically did nothing but yelled at her friends to dig more during the challenge, was voted out in the Tribal Council.
