AceShowbiz - There'll be no wedding bells for Jaimie Alexander and Peter Facinelli. The "Thor" actress and the "Twilight Saga" movie actor have officially announced through their reps that they have broken up, almost a year after getting engaged.
"Due to conflicting family and work commitments on opposite coasts, and after much consideration, Peter and Jaimie have chosen to part ways amicably and remain good friends," so reads a statement released by their reps.
Jaimie is currently the lead of NBC's drama "Blindspot" which is filmed in New York, while Peter has a series regular role on CBS' "Supergirl" which is filmed in California.
The 31-year-old actress and the 42-year-old actor first met on the set of film "Loosies" and later worked together on Showtime's series "Nurse Jackie". They were first romantically linked in 2012, eight months after Peter split with wife Jennie Garth. They got engaged in March 2015.
