AceShowbiz - "Thor" star Jaimie Alexander was left flustered on live TV on Tuesday, January 29, after she was quizzed about possible marriage plans with her actor boyfriend Tom Pelphrey.

The actress was a guest co-host on U.S. breakfast show "Today" and openly gushed about her man, "Marvel's Iron Fist"'s Pelphrey, revealing their shared interests in fitness make them a good match.

During the chat, Jaimie, who has to train hard for her role in TV drama series "Blindspot", admitted she often forgets her own strength.

"One time, I don't know what we were doing, but I kinda punched him in the ribs to be funny, and then I was like, (worried)," she grimaced. "It was hard, and he kinda looked at me and I'm like, 'Sorry!'"

"He's a tough guy though, he does over 300 push ups every day, all these pull ups. He's very strong. He's great for me in that sense," she said, adding, "He's the sweetest."

Her sweet compliments led "Today" show co-presenter Jenna Bush Hager to ask if they have discussed marriage, prompting Jaimie to blush, as she quipped, "Oh my God! Way to give him diarrhoea, Jenna...!"

Answering the question, she said, No, we don't," before jokingly changing the subject.

"If I was lacking blush (before), we're good to go now!" Jaimie laughed as she brushed off the speculation about her personal life.

It's not clear how long the couple has been dating, but the actors went public with the romance last May (18), when Tom, 36, shared a photo on Instagram of the loved-up pair kissing while attending an industry party.

Jaimie, 34, was previously engaged to "Twilight" star Peter Facinelli, but they broke off their marriage plans in 2016 after more than three years together.

Tom, known for playing Ward Meachum in Netflix's cancelled Marvel series "Iron Fist", is also no stranger to high-profile romances, having been linked to former TV co-stars Gina Togoni, Stephanie Gatschet, and Lili Simmons in the past.
