'He was my first concert. Can you believe it? It was a huge thing,' says Kidman, before admitting that she was crying while filming 'Big Little Lies' as Bowie's song 'Ziggy Stardust' was played.

AceShowbiz - Nicole Kidman is mourning the death of late singer David Bowie. Talking to E! News at the UNICEF Ball on Wednesday, January 13, the Australian actress revealed that Bowie's concert was the first concert she attended.

"He was my first concert. Can you believe it?" said Kidman. "It was a huge thing." She admitted to crying when she heard Bowie's song "Ziggy Stardust" during a recent shoot of "Big Little Lies". "We were shooting a yoga class... I was lying on the floor and in the middle of the takes and they were playing 'Ziggy Stardust' and I was crying," she recalled. "I loved David Bowie."

In other news, the late rocker's family isn't planning memorial service for him. "There is no memorial planned" for Bowie, a source told PEOPLE. "The family is extremely private, just like Bowie. [He] had a tiny, tiny circle of friends and confidantes." According to Radar Online, Bowie's body "had been cremated shortly after he died with no friends or relatives present."

Bowie passed away on Sunday, two days after his 69th birthday. "David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer," read a post on the artist's Facebook page. "While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family's privacy during their time of grief."

Following Bowie's death, his fans around the world paid tribute to him. Some of them gathered in London's Brixton neighborhood for a street party to honor the late rocker. They put flowers at a mural of David painted by Australian street artist James Cochran in Brixton district. Other fans who weren't in London paid tribute at the rocker's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
