Fans have known that the second season of "Daredevil" will premiere sometime in 2016, but no one knows exactly when. However, Entertainment Weekly recently released their 2016 preview issue, in which they mentioned that the show would finally return in March.
The first season of the Marvel series debuted on Netflix in April 2015, so fans have been assuming that the next installment would arrive in April this year. So far, there's no official word regarding the release date from both Marvel and Netflix.
"Daredevil" season 2 will see Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock a.k.a. Daredevil. Rosario Dawson, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson and Scott Glenn are also returning as Claire Temple, Karen Page, Foggy Nelson and Stick, respectively. Stephen Rider joins the cast in a regular role as Blake Tower.
According to showrunner Doug Petrie, the first episode of the next season will open with an action scene and immediately introduce The Punisher. "The advantage of any sequel is you can dive right in. We hit the ground running and then we ran as fast as we f***ing could," Petrie told EW.
