Caitlyn Jenner, who raises awareness about transgender since her debut on Vanity Fair cover, is named the Most Fascinating Person this year.

AceShowbiz - Caitlyn Jenner has earned yet another title this year. After honored with the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the 2015 ESPY Awards, the former Olympian is named the Most Fascinating Person of 2015 by Barbara Walters.

"Our choice for the most fascinating person of the year was once called the world's greatest athlete," Walters said. "Traditionally that title was given to the man who won the Olympic decathlon. When Bruce Jenner won it in 1976, it was a huge accomplishment that had everybody talking. But it was nothing like this. When Bruce Jenner became Caitlyn Jenner, there was a seismic shift in the gender universe."

Walters went on praising the reality TV star, "She has become a champion for the transgender community, raising awareness and advocating for acceptance." She added, "Famous and familiar, she raised awareness and acceptance of transgendered people. Through her own transformation, Caitlyn Jenner transformed society this year, and that, for us, makes her the most fascinating person of 2015."

But unlike the other nine people mentioned on the list, Walters didn't sit down for an interview with Jenner. Also making it into the list this year are Amy Schumer, Tracy Morgan, Bradley Cooper, American Ballet Theater principal dancer Misty Copeland, Presidential hopefuls Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, UFC champion Ronda Rousey and fashion designer Donna Karan.

In a "Good Morning America" interview, Walters said Cooper was "very screwable." In a taped interview with the "American Sniper" actor which aired on Thursday, December 17, she asked him how he went from being described by movie industry execs as "unf***able" to "the sexiest man alive." Schumer, meanwhile, opened up about her sex life.
