Justin Bieber canceled a couple of appearances at the last minute due to personal issues. The 21-year-old singer axed his scheduled visit to "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and a performance for the 89th annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

"My apologies to @colbertlateshow as I won't be able to make it to nyc tomorrow for the show. I look forward to making it up to you soon," he tweeted. "@StephenAtHome thank you for the understanding as sometimes life kicks our ass and we need to deal with it. I will see u soon. Thank you."

Bieber who performed at the American Music Awards over the weekend was supposed to appear on Stephen Colbert's "Late Show" on Tuesday, November 24 and taped a performance later for Thanksgiving parade. Despite those cancellations, he is still scheduled for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, Entertainment Tonight learns.
