AceShowbiz - Snoop Dogg is giving back to community. The 44-year-old rapper whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus, Jr. teamed up with Inglewood Mayor James Butts to deliver 1,500 turkeys to families in need at The Forum in Los Angeles ahead of Thanksgiving.

Snoop greeted the families and took pictures with them during the giveaway. 1,500 is an important number for the Long Beach rapper as his production crew is named 1500 or Nothin'. Meanwhile, Inglewood is the city where he opened his headquarters last year.

It's not Snoop's first Thanksgiving giveaway. The "Gin & Juice" hitmaker passed out 800 turkeys last year. The hip-hop star did it at after asking the mayor at the opening of his headquarters what he could do to help the community.
