Take a Look at Some Alternate Costumes for Ant-Man
Movie

Marvel Cinematic Universe costume designer Andy Park has released some images which give a look at how different Ant-Man's suit could have looked.

AceShowbiz - Marvel Cinematic Universe costume designer Andy Park took to Twitter to show some alternative versions of Ant-Man's costume. The artist uploaded a series of artworks which see some alternate designs for the shrinking superhero's suit.

Park contributed some costume designs for "Ant-Man" and he admitted that he was happy with Marvel's choice. Park also said that he created some different designs before making the final one. "Before creating Ant-Man's final look I did several different options keeping w/the retro look necessary," Park said.

Aside from the costume designs, a deleted scene from the Peyton Reed-directed movie has arrived online. The nearly-one-minute clip shows the first meeting between Michael Douglas's Hank Pym and Paul Rudd's Scott Lang. The two are trying to con and sizing each other up. Lang is seen dressing up as a cable guy.

Through voiceover in the video, director Reed reveals the reasons why they deleted the scene. "We ended up cutting it out because it felt like, with all the other stuff that happens with [Lang] dismantling the fingerprint lock and getting in the safe, we definitely told the story of Scott Lang being resourceful as a burglar," Reed says. "And also, I think, we wanted to introduce Pym in a different way."

"Ant-Man" has garnered an impressive $179.6 million at the domestic box office for a global total of $518 million. It will be followed by "Ant-Man and the Wasp", which is slated to open in the U.S. on July 6, 2018.
